Sweet Sandy was adopted today. I was bad about updating her blog. She is a real sweetheart and a big love sponge. I wish her all the best in her new home.
Sometimes your first job just doesn't work out, and that was the case with Sandy. After trying out racing at St. Petersburg, then at Victoryland, and finally at Birmingham, Sandy made it clear that 35 races were enough! She's now ready to embrace career #2 - a spoiled and much-loved couch potato! Sandy tested cat safe. She's a little reserved, but not really shy. Once she's settled into her foster home, we'll get to watch her discovert this new world of retirement. Welcome to your new world, Sandy!
GPA Nashville adopts retired racing greyhounds into loving homes in the middle Tennessee area, as well as southern Kentucky and northern Alabama. We are
